OFFICE VISIT SAFETY PROCEDURES Q&A:

1. What steps are you taking to stop the spread of COVID-19 inside your office?
  • Patients check in from the car.
  • Temperatures are taken on everyone prior to entering the building.
  • Patients are taken directly to exam room; no waiting in waiting area.
  • We perform increased disinfection of all surfaces, including door handles.
  • Staff wear face masks as well as gloves and eye protection for closer contact and procedures such as throat swabs, bloodwork or vaccines.

2. Can you provide me with a face mask or other protective equipment? Will I need to bring my own?
  • Everyone needs to wear a mask, except patients who are under 2 years of age.
  • Unfortunately, we do not have enough to give every patient, so please bring your own face covering.
  • If you don't have a mask, see the CDC website for information on making your own.
  • Please ensure the mask covers your nose and mouth during the visit.
  • If you forget to bring your mask, you can purchase one at the front desk for $0.50.

3. Are there any changes in the way you conduct sick and well visits?
  • We currently perform well visits 9:00am - 2:00pm and sick visits 2:00 - 4:00pm.
  • Beginning July 1, we will resume evening and Saturday appointments.
  • Sick visits are mostly done by telemedicine.
  • Rooms are designated specifically for sick patients and well patients.
  • Patients who are scheduled for well visits but are sick will be rescheduled.

MAKING APPOINTMENTS Q&A

1. Has the process for scheduling an appointment with you changed?
  • No, we are still scheduling appointments by phone.
  • You can also submit a request for an appointment for a well visit through the patient portal.

2. Do you still have walk-in hours?
  • No, we have suspended walk-in hours due to the pandemic.
  • All visits are by appointment only.

3. Do you have no-contact services available?
  • Yes, we are performing virtual visits for sick patients. See our telemedicine page for more information.
  • Well visits are done in person in the office.

4. Are both office locations currently open?
  • Yes, we are seeing patients in both the North and Robinson offices.
  • We are currently operating under reduced in-office hours, but may change depending on the circumstances.
  • There is always a doctor on-call for urgent questions after the office is closed.
  • Check our website or Facebook page for changes to office hours.

5. Can I bring grandparents or siblings to the office?
  • We prefer only one parent to bring the patient and no siblings, unless they also have appointments.
  • We understand that sometimes there are circumstances in which you may need an allowance, such as a single parent with no other caretakers to watch the siblings. Please let us know in advance of the appointment if you are unable to make other arrangements.
